Hello there, lovely reader!  I'm so happy you took the time to look at this page.  Rather than make a little essay about who I am, (as if I were applying to college again!), I thought I'd give you some info about me in a list.  That's how we work as a society anyway... I think.

1. I am a Texan through and through.  (I'm from Houston, so I got the diverse Texas.)  We're awesome people!

2. I'm so Texan, when I worked at a Girl Scout camp in Alaska, we had to come up with nicknames, and I couldn't think of one, so I went with Texy and drew a kick-butt pic of Texas on the back of my shirt.

3. My mom was a housewife / stay-at-home mom.  I crazy respect the women who do that, and hope to be half as good when I have kids.

4. I have such an addictive personality, and once I love something, I really love it.  I currently am re-watching the anime Sailor Moon for the third time, as we speak!  (Well, as I type, and probably even when you read this, no matter how far from now that is...)

5. My husband and I were high school sweethearts, but only my senior year and his junior.  Yep, I am a cougar!  (As-if!)

6. I frequently have dreams where zombies attack.

7. In fact, to make myself workout as much as possible, I use the Zombies, Run! app on my phone.

8. I struggle to make lasting friends, because I'm kind of closed-off, but boy am I a loyal one.  Yes, like a golden retriever.

9. Speaking of animals, I bawl in just about any animal story.  I cried when I met my first pig, and immediately decided to stop eating pork from then on.  It's hard, giving up on some of it, like bacon and especially pepperoni... mhmmmm... but worth it.  Piggies are too cute!

10. Last but most important, I'm a Roman-Catholic.  My husband and I had a very traditional Mexican wedding in the church.  It was the best choice of the million choices made about that day.  We try very hard to regularly attend that same church.  We love the new Pope and his loving-minded statements.  Go acceptance!
